St Patrick’s Day was wonderfully green and glittery affair at the Rose of East Des Moines. Residents adorned themselves in a variety of festively themed accessories, and arrived in style for an afternoon punch party. The refreshments featured four varieties of green punch, and party-goers had the opportunity to whip up a rainbow of Lucky Charms treats. Some spent time mingling and enjoying a soundtrack of Celtic music; others tried their luck at dice games, and searched a leprechaun’s pot of gold in hopes of finding the prize-winning Charms lollipop.
The event’s many attendees had a wonderful afternoon sipping punch and socializing with the community. Thank you to Kyla K. and Open Arms for organizing this event!
